I must chuckle. My preparation for ministry is from the School of Hard Knocks. If there is an easy route to learn a lesson, I'll walk right by and find the circuitous path. The good thing about all those uncomfortable lessons is that I experience and learn. So, when I speak or write, I can pretty much cover a lot of ways to not walk that faith journey. Even more importantly, to demonstrate the loving kindness of our Heavenly Father.

INTERVIEW WITH DEBRA COLLINS
At times, you may feel overwhelmed, scared, or even exhausted, just remember to rest. It's okay to take a break every now and then and let someone step in to help. Take some time to rest so you can rejuvenate your body, spirit and mind.
GRIEF IS NOT MY FUTURE
The last thing I ever expected was to be an author. All of these ugly circumstances have been central to my ministry. Early on, I knew as much as it's possible to know, Esther's life, illness, and death would launch me into writing and sharing how God's love is real even unto death. It has become central to my ministry.

No one gets out of this life without… Continue reading HOLDING ON TO HOPE

THE LESSONS I LEARNED PART 1
by Teresa Moyer Before I took this cross-country adventure, the only traveling I had embarked on was road trips in my car with me as the driver. Also, I'd never ventured far outside of my home in Oregon because I didn't know how to pump my own gas, which is not allowed in Oregon. I… Continue reading THE LESSONS I LEARNED PART 1
The Urging of the Spirit
by Joyce Cordell Do you ever have a time when it seems the Lord urges you to do something specific? I went through such a time. Years ago, I sensed that He placed the word "write" in my mind. Oh, I had written many things - journals, skits, devotions, Bible studies, even a short story… Continue reading The Urging of the Spirit
KEEP THAT DREAM ALIVE!
By Bette Lafferty I wrote my first poem, about Santa Claus, at the age of five. I didn’t understand why my family laughed at my first creative project, but it hurt. Twenty-five years passed before I wrote poetry again. This time didn’t go much better than my first attempt. I admit, a poem about ants,… Continue reading KEEP THAT DREAM ALIVE!
