I have never felt too old to be used by God. But when I was younger, I wrestled with God about how I could be useful with physical limitations. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis around age forty and spent quite a few years physically impaired. God assured me through His Word that in my weakness He is strong. (2 Cor. 12:10) Then God went on to prove this truth to me by giving me opportunities to serve Him in various capacities. If we are breathing, He can use us for His glory.
Stay close to the Lord and follow His leading. Though being used to bless others in His name, such as going on mission trips or outreach at a local homeless shelter, are great ways to be involved in loving others in His name, the quiet, steady acts of loving those closest to us - family members and close friends - may be the holiest and most important work we do for Jesus.
Little irritants won't matter years from now. It is not lasting; it is not worth getting upset about or worrying about. We laugh a lot imagining how our circumstances would look to others watching a movie.
We live in a world that seems to applaud those who are busy. The busier, the better. It’s as if being busy equals progress and ensures success. But, of course, this is not necessarily the case.
God knows about these days. They are in His plans for us. The day may not make sense. The day will come when we are young and when we are old. The day molds, shapes, refines, and makes us more like Christ. We are imperfect beings who need our perfect God. Even amid a challenging day, there is immense peace in our obedience to His call.

I recently heard someone say, "The need is the call." If you see a need, consider how God might be asking you to help. Your insight, experience, Bible knowledge, and wisdom are invaluable. Methods change, but truth and human nature are consistent throughout time. Be flexible on "how" things get done, speak truth, and be willing to keep learning.
That was not a life - running myself ragged from morning till night feeling as if I had accomplished very little by day's end. Every time I looked around and saw cluttered counters, mail piling up, bills to be paid, letters to be answered, laundry baskets full of clothes to be folded, I felt like screaming, "Why can't I get anything done?"
I'm learning that there is no such thing as retirement in the Bible or the Kingdom of God. He is with us through every stage of life, and He continues to teach me to trust Him and be flexible
